CDS Energy Services has completed the final barge crane lifting operations for px Group’s IC2 Jetty Abatement Project at Saltend, marking a significant milestone in the East Yorkshire scheme.
The works, delivered in partnership with Humber Work Boats, involved seven barge crane lifting campaigns carried out between October 2024 and March 2025. Over the course of the programme, teams executed around 80 lifts, removing redundant pipework while installing new fabricated spools onto the jetty structure.
Operating through the winter months, the project demanded detailed planning and close coordination across all parties to maintain safe and consistent delivery. The lifting operations formed a critical part of the wider abatement works, ensuring the jetty infrastructure was upgraded efficiently and with minimal disruption.
CDS Energy Services described the outcome as a strong team achievement, underlining the collaborative effort between contractors and client to deliver a complex offshore scope safely and on schedule.
