CDS Energy Services has received Achilles’ UVDB accreditation, which has cemented its reputation as a trusted supplier to the UK utilities industry.
Over 30 utility companies and more than 35 of their contracting partners use the UVDB system to qualify their supply chain, with the scheme’s standard assessment of management systems and site performance guaranteeing quality business operations. The company went through the comprehensive application and auditing processes required for the accreditation, and received excellent scores in all categories.
Launched in 1996, the pre-qualification system helps to manage risk within the supply chain by giving suppliers the opportunity to connect with key industry players and ensure strong working relationships. It also drives industry best practice with its stringent verification criteria.
This adds to CDS’ already long list of accreditations, having recently received a Sellica pre-qualification certificate, as well as renewing its FPAL registration. CDS offers a wide range of services, from bespoke projects to turnkey solutions, and these accreditations will increase the company’s visibility in the utilities industry, allowing it to further build on its significant portfolio of projects.
