CDS Energy Services has continued to recruit locally in order to complete contracts throughout the energy industry.
The energy services business, which specialises in oil, gas, nuclear and petrochemical activities, has continued to further bridge the skills gap in the industry by recruiting locally. The company has a vast number of industry contacts, spanning more than 30 years, to provide further jobs for those living in and around the Humber, which is widely regarded as the UK’s energy estuary.
More than 30 skilled workers recently completed works at the Drax power station, all employed locally by CDS itself. CDS Energy Services continues to drive recruitment to ensure work quality is of the highest possible standard. The company continues to succeed winning contracts across on a national scale, and, as a result, has continued to drive a rigorous recruitment programme in order to provide further skilled jobs.
CDS’s Managing Director, Howard Laybourne, said: “CDS Energy Services prides itself in providing high-quality service solutions to the energy industry, and due to this, we have a recruitment programme in place to ensure we continue to recruit locally and create jobs based on the contracts. We continue to recruit skilled workers directly, rather than relying on agencies. This enables us to match, more precisely, the resources with our clients’ needs.
“It is through sustainably recruiting that we are able to contribute our efforts into bridging the skills gap in the industry and provide further energy-based skilled roles in the Humber region for work across the UK.”
