CDS Energy Services has completed a preform fabrication project for Perenco UK Ltd.
The works consisted of the design, procurement, fabrication and galvanizing of steelwork, which was delivered to Great Yarmouth for offshore transportation.
The steelwork will be used as part of Perenco’s partnership exploration project with Premier and BP at the Ravenspurn ST2 platform located in the North Sea. Exploration drilling has started on a potential carboniferous gas play in the UK southern North Sea block 43/26a.

This is the latest in a number of collaborative projects we have delivered with Perenco and it reinforces our expertise in the field. Through successful delivery of the fabrication works we feel that we have played an important part in this hugely significant exploration project.”
In 2015, CDS Energy Services completed a phased project to provide mechanical engineering services at Perenco’s Dimlington Gas Terminal in East Yorkshire. It was responsible for the fabrication of new mechanical components and installing them on-site to support Perenco’s multi-million-pound upgrade of the natural gas refrigeration system.
